WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT SHORT RUN

Paul Constant from The Stranger reviewed Short Run for The Slog …there was such an air of destination at this show — finally, someone finally managed to put this together, and it’s just as good as we always knew it would be — that you can’t help but see it as the debut of a great new Seattle institution.

Gavin Lees from Graphic Eye Short Run felt very different from regular festivals — it had more of a community vibe to it, with a bake sale greeting visitors when they walked in the door… The show floor was jam-packed with attendees and business seemed to be brisk, with many visitors voraciously indulging in the works on offer…

This show was different. There where crowds of enthusiastic alternative comic readers all day till the very last minute. I went unprepared with only 15-20 copies of each of my four comics, a couple home-made wizard beards and stickers and TOTALLY SOLD OUT of everything I had.
